Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island

The grant will allow for an upgrade of their gymnasium floor which is their largest and most frequently used facility space. Since the building is 20 years old, they are working to renovate and upgrade rooms to ensure safety and provide for growing program opportunities. The gym is the pride of the Club boasting 6 basketball stations and seating for 400. It is constantly used (after school, 10.5 hours in the summer, every Saturday and most evenings) for volleyball, kickball, indoor soccer, lacrosse, roller hockey, basketball, and dances! They have never made an upgrade to the gym floor since it was built in 1997.
