The website plays a key role in promoting Vista’s mission and vision. It is our primary marketing tool for social sharing and brand recognition. We even incorporated the website’s colors and theme throughout our new marketing collateral. In addition, choosing a new url, VistaAutismServices.org, encouraged us to begin doing business as Vista Autism Services. This change has been a huge asset in helping the community understand what we do just by saying who we are.
We have been able to drive more traffic to our website by having a more effective SEO strategy, organized layout of our service lines and distinct program descriptions. This gives us a strong online presence and is a cost-effective and efficient way to create awareness. This strategy has also greatly increased the number of families that are able to find Vista’s services just by searching. More than 60% of our users are now finding Vista through an organic search and we have increased the number of users to more than 2,500 per month.
The website design improvement has made it easier to inspire people to donate, attend events, and support Vista. It is more vibrant and showcases photos of actual Vista students so donors can see firsthand who their donations impact.
The grant was to help Vista rebrand as “one Vista” by creating one new website as opposed to the two websites that we were previously using.
The project was intended to increase Vista’s brand awareness by creating one website that shared all of Vista’s services. Ultimately, this helps families of individuals with autism find out about our services more easily.
With the condensing from two websites to one, Vista was able to select a new url. Choosing a new url, VistaAutismServices.org, encouraged us to begin doing business as Vista Autism Services. This change has been a huge asset in helping the community understand what we do just by saying who we are.

We have been able to track results using Google Analytics along with tracking the increase in contacts made through the website.
The new website is easy to maintain and update. We now have the ability to change the areas of the website as our organization grows and changes which will last us for many years to come.
It is important for any organization to have one place that encompasses all of the great work that they do. This new website did that for us and can easily be done by any other organization with the right web developer working with them.
